Recuperative Thoughts

Good afternoon all!

An April Wednesday’s observation or two:

Spare a few warm days, spring has not quite sprung here in New England - in truth though, our severe weather never seems to be as severe experienced in other places.

I wrote a piece around St. Patrick’s Day addressing my Irish heritage as a family reunion approaches — check for it over in the ‘Narratives’ page of this site if you have a few minutes,

I am nearly done recuperating from a surgery…basic healing fine. While scheduled as an outpatient procedure, it still required general anesthesia in an operating room. I have been struck by my experience lying flat on the gurney, being rolled through what seemed like hallway after hallway to the OR. Look for a poem from me upcoming on this, while I have raised the topic, and if you are willing to share — no pressure — what type of state would you sese yourself in under the same circumstance? No (appropriate) answer incorrect - feel free to have a go!

Have a great day, until we meet again….
